Want to know a little bit about me? I’m a 30-something from Northern Virginia. I live to tell the tale of the Gospel, and my King, Jesus. I love the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life, and am always up for an adventure!

Here I hope to encourage, challenge, and invite you all into a head and heart space that makes the imagination for goodness run wild. I love life, and want others to too! My blog is meant to provoke a sense of longing for Christ, gratitude for this life, and anticipation for the life to come. The greatest adventure is yet to come!

During the day, I’m an event planner (Penderview Events!), and absolutely love what I do. During my entire day, I’m a lover to my friends and family, prayer warrior, and confidant to Jesus. There is so much purpose and meaning to the work that I engage with, the life I’m deciding to live and embrace, and I cannot thank God enough for His blessings. Besides event planning and loving people, blogging, and creating artwork, I love to crochet blankets (that’s really all I’m good at crocheting lol), hang out with friends (I’m very extroverted!), and decorate spaces to make them more inviting. I love hospitality, my morning cup of coffee, Orangetheory, children, Arbonne, taking pictures, and smiling a ton.

You may also be wondering why this blog is called “Nanny.” Simply put, Nanny is my dearest nickname. It has inspired me to keep my friends close and do things for others that are endearing, too.
